Erwin Neumayer is an archaeologist and ethnologist. He has written on the prehistoric rock art of India, and--together with Christine Schelberger--is the author of Popular Indian Art: Raja Ravi Varma and the Printed Gods of India (OUP, 2003). Erwin Neumayer lives in Vienna. Christine Schelberger is an artist who teaches art and art history in Vienna.
