For examples of occupiers’ liability claims:

  • Go to Personal Injury (Volume 29(2)), and expand.
  • Choose Forms and expand.
  • Choose D: Particulars of Claim and expand.
  • Choose 2: Occupiers’ Liability and expand.
  • You will see 3 categories. Choose the relevant category and expand.
  • Categories 1 and 2 each reveal a menu which describes the content of each precedent.
  • Category 3 has two sub-categories. Choose the relevant category and expand to find the menu of precedents.

For examples of employers’ liability claims:

  • Go to Personal Injury (Volume 29(2)), and expand.
  • Choose Forms and expand.
  • Choose D: Particulars of Claim and expand.
  • Choose 3: Employers’ Liability and expand.
  • You will see 2 categories. Choose the relevant category and expand.
  • Each category reveals a menu which describes the content of each precedent.

For examples of fatal accident claims:

  • Go to Personal Injury (Volume 29(2)), and expand.
  • Choose Forms and expand.

  • Choose 9: Fatal Accidents and expand.
  • You will see 2 categories. Choose the relevant category and expand.
  • You will see forms 91-93, and the menu describes the content of each.

For examples of other personal injury claims:

  • Go to Personal Injury (Volume 29(2)), and expand.
  • Choose Forms and expand.
  • Choose D: Particulars of Claim and expand.
  • Choose the relevant category and expand.
  • Where appropriate, choose the relevant sub-category and expand.
  • Each category reveals a menu which describes the content of each precedent.

For further examples of product liability claims:

  • Go to Sale and Supply of Goods and Services (Volume 35), and expand.
  • Choose Forms and expand.
  • Choose F: Liability for Products Causing Injury to Person or Property and expand.
  • Choose 2: Particulars of Claim and expand.
  • You will see forms 211-218 and the menu describes the content of each.

For examples of claims for negligent misstatement and professional negligence:

  • Go to Professional and Clinical Negligence (Volume 29(2)), and expand.
  • Choose Forms and expand.
  • Choose the section (A-H) relevant to the professional area concerned and expand.
  • Each section reveals a menu which describes the content of each precedent.

For examples of breach of contract claims:

  • Go to Contract (Volume 12(2)), and expand.
  • Choose Forms and expand.
  • Choose C: Particulars of Claim and expand.
  • You will see forms 18-53, and the menu describes the content of each.

For examples of contract claims involving sale of goods:

  • Go to Sale and Supply of Goods and Services (Volume 35), and expand.
  • Choose Forms and expand.
  • Choose A: The Sale of Goods Act 1979 and expand.
  • Choose 1: Actions by Seller or 2: Actions by Buyer and expand.
  • Choose Particulars of Claim and expand.
  • You will see a menu which describes the content of each precedent.
