The two layers showing selected features are elevgt2k.shp (vector polygons representing areas with elevations of greater than 2000 m) and idw16gt250.shp (vector polygons representing areas with predicted precipitation amounts of greater than 250 mm). These layers can be opened directly in ArcMap™. The intersect overlay of the two layers can be conducted with ArcToolbox™> Analysis Tools > Overlay > Intersect (where ArcToolbox > Analysis, for example, indicates go from ArcToolbox to the Analysis directory).
