Case breakdown

Although the book describes how to read a case, some people may find it helpful to see what a reported case looks like. Here, we look at a recent case on nuisance and identify some of the elements of the reported decision.

This particular case comes off Bailii's electronic database (www.bailii.org). Bailii allows viewers to access cases free of charge. However, there are a few differences between published reports and electronic reports, as will be described below.
