The ways in which organizations organize their websites provide some very useful clues as to what form of organizational structure they adopt. Learners are encouraged to:
Appreciate how multinational organizations structure themselves by product groupings, regional groupings, functional groupings, website/webpage organization etc.
Think about the reasons why they are organized in that way e.g. efficiency (e.g. easier/shorter ordering procedures for customers), effectiveness (e.g. enhanced customer service and satisfaction).
