Clayton: Textbook on Immigration & Asylum Law 3e
End-of-chapter question guidance
The questions which appear at the end of each chapter are of various kinds. Some can be answered as a way of digesting the material in the chapter. Most are essay questions of varying length and complexity which are designed to encourage critical thought on the subject of the chapter. Most can be responded to at different levels of detail and with different levels of research. A few are not really intended for discursive essay-type answers, but are a question to bear in mind to accompany your reading. I call these a 'thought bubble': just something that might float near you and broaden your perspective on a topic.
The questions generally are to aid reflection, and will not serve as revision questions except to the extent that thinking about the material serves that purpose.
