Font styles which are easy to read are 1 (Arial), 4 (Verdana) and 7 (Tahoma). These font styles are called sans serif fonts and are the most legible font types for presentations. The most difficult to read are font styles 2 (Ramona), 3 (Handstroke) and 6 (Bradley Hand ITC). These types of font (which imitate handwriting) are extremely difficult to read when projected on to a screen. The Comic Sans font (number 5) is a handwriting font which was originally designed for speech bubbles in comic books. However, it is a font which can be read relatively easily when projected on to a screen and is therefore acceptable for use.

This slide uses font size 44 for the title and font size 32 for the main text. Both font sizes are large enough to be read by someone sitting at the back of a large room. You should try not to go below a font size of 24 for the main text.

Subtle animation is used on this slide so that each bullet point is added to the slide one by one. This works relatively well as it allows the speaker to introduce, to the audience, a single point at a time.
