There are several useful websites dealing with issues relating to victims of crime. Probably the most informative is this Dutch-hosted International Victimology website. This provides access to a vast library of material and links to all the relevant academic journals.

This is an American site with worldwide links to service providers; this site also hosts a number of specialist
services including Victimology Research.

The UK agency Victim Support has a helpful site, which focuses on providing leaflets and other information to victims, but also has press releases, policy documents, research reports, and links to other organisations.

This UK government website provides basic information to victims, with links to research and other organisations. It is part of a vast and complex website with a search facility which is not very user-friendly, but it is good for what it does.

The online Victim Walkthrough also has some key information about victims in the criminal justice process and is a useful example of the output of policy making in this area.
