Old Bailey Proceedings Online allows the searching of a database of all published accounts of trials held at the Old Bailey, London, between 1674 and 1913.

Through the National Archives at Kew, London (where all government papers and many other collections are held), the Learning Curve website provides a basic introduction to the criminal justice system and its development; you will also be able to examine historical documents digitised for use on this site.
