Living Music

Welcome to the homepage for Living Music, an innovative new scheme from Oxford University Press which aims to encourage the performance by amateur orchestras of recent works written by Oxford's 'house' composers.

The works featured in Living Music are fun to play and rewarding to listen to, and they vary in difficulty and duration. They've all been selected with non-professional performing groups in mind.

We have reduced the hire fee for any of the works featured in this promotion. Depending on the duration of the work, the hire fee will fall into one of three 'bands' (contact the Hire Library for an exact hire fee quote). A free CD sampler, and free perusal scores are available on request.

Click on the links below to find out more information on each featured work. To request a copy of the CD sampler that accompanies this promotion, please click here.
