The reference in the FCA 1981, s 5 to 'passports and documents which can be used instead of passports' ((e) in the text) has been deleted by the Identity Cards Act 2006, s 44(2), Sch 2. Section 256 of that Act provides offences relating to the possession of such documents or other specified identity documents.
