The Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006, s 30 provides that a person seeking to enter the United Kingdom and claiming to have a right of abode must prove that right by the production of a UK Passport describing him as a British citizen or a British subject with a right of abode; an Identity Card which so describes him; or a certificate of entitlement. [Not yet in force]
The Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006, s 47 provides that where leave to enter or remain in the United Kingdom has been extended pending an appeal, the Secretary of State may decide that the person should be removed from the United Kingdom in accordance with directions given by an immigration officer. [Not yet in force]

The Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006, s 32 empowers a superintendent to require the owner or agent of a ship or aircraft to provide passenger or service information. Passengers and crew members must provide information to the owner of agent where such a requirement has been made. These powers also apply to 'freight information'. A person commits an offence if he fails, without reasonable excuse, to comply with any such requirement. [Not yet in force]
