Jon Blake
Jon Blake harboured ambitions to write from an early age. He did well at story-writing at school and always received lots of gold stars for his work. However, when he decided to start drawing them on himself, to save his teachers the bother, they were not amused! Jon's ideas are drawn from his experiences as a secondary teacher. In one school, he even met a pupil who offered Jon his autograph!
Apart from writing Jon plays and records his own music, runs drama workshops, and is a keen runner, football player, and mountain biker (but not on mountains!)
