What resources will I need to order?
- Get the Speed Sounds Lesson Plans Handbook - If you are working independently at home, this handbook makes it easy to follow the Read Write Inc. programme
- Start by buying Speed Sound Cards Set 1 and a Sound Picture Frieze to put in your child's bedroom
- When your child can read and blend these sounds into words, they will soon be ready to read the Set 1 and Set 2 Storybooks
How will I know how to pronounce the phonic sounds?
You can practise saying the sounds by downloading our phonic sounds PowerPoint presentation. Save the presentation to your computer and click 'view slideshow' to run the presentation. Click your left mouse button to cue each sound.
