Very clear process of writing, which makes the resources easy to use. Good explanation of key vocabulary - climax, resolution etc. Features link well into having a success criteria. Writers toolkit very useful - particulary for SEN children who struggle with ideas. Excellent resource to incorporate into the literacy strategy.

Leckhampton Primary School use TreeTops Storywriter across our various KS2 classes. What has attracted many of us teachers is how visually attractive and inviting it is to look at. The colour coded sections which are clearly marked help enourmously!

One teacher has found that she can teach cross-curricular history with literacy as the 2nd World War text within the software is excellent. There are inspirational ideas for the children to write about with excellent hints and tips. Many of us teachers and indeed the children like Pie Corbett as we know Pie understands what teachers need and what children like. Excellent planning guidance on teh stories for the children, this has saved a considerable amount of planning time for lessons. We have found thsi an excellent resource to have; we can use this as a classroom activity as well as on a one-to-one basis. It has been made for Teachers by Teachers.

The Ridgeway Primary School looked at numerous packages to help with the children's literacy & writing skills and found that TreeTops Storywriter to be the most interesting and stimulating package out of those reviewed. We are confident this will help our children develop their literacy & writing skills as the topics available are subjects they can all relate too.

Having Pie Corbett involved with the package is a great asset as we know that with his expertise and his wide dealings with children, we can trust Pie's understanding of how children will want to learn. All the teachers at our school that have used teh product find the animations and the five easy steps bright and colourful which really makes it very simple to use, a joy to teach with and great value for money!
