Meet Richard Dunne
Richard Dunne is the author of Maths Makes Sense
Richard Dunne taught in schools for twenty years and at the University of Exeter before working independently as an author and consultant. He is well known nationally and internationally for his work on maths learning across the age range (from nursery to secondary school and university) and makes invited contributions to conferences on thinking skills, special educational needs and on the gifted and talented.
He has devoted his professional life to designing a scientific basis for teaching and, in particular, mathematics teaching.
By using the Maths Makes Sense approach all learners' understanding of maths can be improved very rapidly.
