• Q, The program asks me for a username and password. Is this something I should have received with the CD?

Exam Success CDs allow the user to create a file, containing the details of their use (i.e. Activity Results, Name, Password, etc). When asked for a username and password, the program is referring to the username and password of individuals using the program. To create a new user, click on the 'Create New User' button, close to where it asks for the username and password.

• Q, Can I install the 'users' file on a server?

This is not something we advise, as it means adapting the programming code. It is, however, possible, and some schools have had success using the following file, which has been provided by the developer, outlining how to change the code so that it can be installed onto a server:

• Q, When l access the program as a user, a message appears saying 'Internal Server Error'.

This occurs when the program cannot find the file 'users'. This is because it is not where the installation file told the computer it was, or because the current user does not have access to the place where it is stored.
