Floppy’s Phonics Sounds and Letters
Product Info
Floppy’s Phonics Sounds and Letters CD-ROMs are designed to support the rigorous and systematic approach to teaching synthetic phonics provided within the rest of the Floppy’s Phonics Sounds and Letters programme. FAQ
- Q, Do the Sounds and Letters CD-ROMs work on an Apple Macintosh computer?
Yes. The Sounds and Letters CD-ROMs work on Apple Macintosh computers
running Mac OS 10.4.11 - 10.6. Use Disc A to install the software.
-
- Q, I want to use Sounds and Letters on an RM CC3 network. Is that possible?
- On CC3 Main Server PC, insert Sounds and Letters Disc B and open the RMCC3
folder accessible from the root directory of the CD.
- Copy the folder from within the RMCC3 folder on the CD to
D:\RMNetwork\RMManage\Packages\Applications\
- You should then be able to use the RM Management Console to roll-out the
package to client machines in the usual way.
-
- Q, I want to install Sounds and Letters to a network that isn't an RM CC3 network. Is that possible?
Sounds and Letters is a program with a standalone installation only. We recommend that you use it on standalone machines. However, our testing indicates that Sounds and Letters can be installed on a shared drive on a network and accessed from several client computers – this use is not officially supported, but you may find it works for you.
