Sue Welford

Sue Welford was born in Sussex and attended Lewes Grammar School for Girls where the teachers soon despaired of her. 'All I ever wanted to do,' she admits, 'was to read books, make up stories and listen to rock music. They didn't seem to mind the first two but the third was definitely out!'

Most of Sue's time is still spent writing, reading and listening to rock music. She does still find time each day to walk the black Labrador and Jack Russell terrier along the beautiful beaches close to her home in New Zealand.
