Stewart Ross

After several years teaching at a variety of institutions in Britain, the USA, Saudi Arabia and Sri Lanka, Stewart Ross became a full-time writer some eleven years ago. With almost 100 published titles to his credit, in a remarkably short time he has become one of Britain’s most prolific and versatile authors. A well as prize-winning books for children, both fiction and non-fiction, he has written two popular novels and several widely acclaimed historical works, particularly on Scotland. He is a frequent lecturer and broadcaster, and visiting lecturer at ICES, Roche-sur-Yon, France.

Stewart Ross lives near Canterbury with his wife and four children. Each morning he escapes domestic hubbub by commuting ten yards to a large hut in the garden.
