Jago
Since the age of about 2, Jago has drawn as much as possible. He didn’t do GCSE Art, and took science subjects instead, wanting to be an Archaeologist (more specifically, Indiana Jones!). After doing A Levels and getting a place at University he wondered what on earth he was doing and went back to do a GNVQ in Art and Design. Jago now works as a freelance designer. He gets a lot of inspiration from other artists and illustrators, favourites including Shaun Tan, Lane Smith, Niamh Sharkey and Joel Stewart. He also finds the landscape of Cornwall very inspiring and it often finds it way into his work. Jago enjoys surfing and spending as much time at the beach as possible.
