Patrick Cave
Patrick Cave has lived all over the place, from Athens to Peckham, mostly teaching English, but currently lives in Monfaucon, France. He married the girl he was nuts about at school, and they now have baby Benedict, as well as Patrick's fab seven-year-old, Loic (to whom Patrick's second OUP novel, Last Chance, is dedicated). Patrick has always loved children's fiction, seeing it as generally less confused and pretentious than adult writing... 'who could possibly understand the world better than children?'
