Andy Briggs

For as long as he can remember Andy Briggs has enjoyed creating stories and read about fantasy worlds whenever he could. He devoured comic books, which were responsible for getting him interested in reading. Favourite books include The Hobbit, which motivated him to become a writer, the Captain Cobwebb series of books by Gordon Boshell, and the Fighting Fantasy books by Ian Livingston and Steve Jackson.
Andy Briggs was born in Liverpool, England. Having endured many careers, ranging from pizza delivery to teaching IT to film-making (though not all at the same time), he eventually remembered the constant encouragement he had received at an early age about his writing. That led him to launch himself on a poor, unsuspecting Hollywood. In between having fun writing movie scripts, Andy now has far too much fun writing novels.
He lives in a secret lair somewhere in the South East of England–attempting to work despite his two crazy cats. His claims about possessing superpowers may be somewhat over exaggerated . . .
