The Dictionary Skills Resource Pack has been designed for students in Further and Higher Education, but can also be used effectively with students of Spanish at GCSE and A level.
Designed with flexibility in mind, this pack can be used as the basis for one or two complete lessons, or integrated into the GCSE or A Level course to focus on particular topics as and when your students need most practice.
The pack familiarizes students with essential dictionary skills and illustrates the ways in which a good dictionary can help them translate into and out of the target language authentically.
There are interactive exercises throughout including idioms and abbreviations, phonetics, sentence patterns, the subjunctive, and many other useful topics. Further interactive exercises can be downloaded below.
