Javascript requirements on the Oxford University Press ELT Site

All levels

This Oxford University Press website requires Javascript to be enabled in your browser. Most pages only use a small amount of Javascript for non-essential functions. However, some pages (particularly our Teacher's Sites) make extensive use of Javascript for interactive activities.

To enable Javascript on popular browsers, follow these instructions:

Internet Explorer 6+

Select: Tools / Internet Options / Security / Internet
Select "Medium" or "Default level"
Click the "Back" button on your browser.
Click the "Refresh" or "Reload" button on your browser.

Netscape Navigator 6+

Select: Edit / Preferences / Advanced
Check "Enable JavaScript".
Click the "Back" button on your browser.
Click the "Refresh" or "Reload" button on your browser.

Opera Version 5.0+

Select: File / Preferences / Plugins
Check "Enable Scripting Languages"
Click the "Back" button on your browser.
Click the "Refresh" or "Reload" button on your browser.

Firefox (checked in 1.5 & 2.0)

Select: Tools / Options / Content
Check "Enable JavaScript"
Click the "OK" button.
Click the "Refresh" or "Reload" button on your browser.

Mozilla 1.7.1

Select: Menu / Preferences / Advanced / Scripts & Plugins
Check "Navigator" on "Enable JavaScript For"
Click the "Refresh" or "Reload" button on your browser.

Netscape 8

Select: Tools / Options / Site Controls
For the level of security chosen, select "Enable JavaScript"
Click the "Refresh" or "Reload" button on your browser.

We hope you will be able to enable Javascript, but if you can not, please be aware that some aspects of this site may not behave as expected.
