1. MOVIEWEB: A searchable database of movies listed by year (1995 to the present), alphabetically, or by category. You can also find information about movies that are playing now at theaters, or movies that are already on video.
2. Excite Movies: There are over 400,000 movies in this searchable directory. Each movie title is accompanied by a plot summary, information about the cast, and reviews. You can also follow links to official movie sites, or watch a video clip of a movie of your choice.
3. The Movie Page: This page contains links to the most recent and upcoming movies, it gives movie reviews, movie trailers, movie scripts, links to other movie pages on the Web, a movie board and a movie chat room.
4. Internet Movie Database (IMDb): This is an international organization that provides cross-referenced and up-to-date movie information. Currently covers over 170,000 movies. You can search the database by movie title, cast/crew name, or character name. For each movie title you get an overview, full cast, crew and company credits, user comments, external reviews, newsgroup reviews, awards & nominations, recommendations, plot summary, a list of memorable quotes, trivia, goofs, merchandising links, release dates, filming locations, photographs, sound clip(s), video clip(s), links to related pages, and more.
5. All Movie Guide: This movie database can be searched by movie title, person's name, keyword, or plotline. For each movie you can view a summary of the plot, a list of the cast, and links to related information. This site also contains movie news, an extensive film glossary, information about movie genres, interviews with celebrities, and more.
6. Motion Picture Database: This section of the TV Guide Online provides cast information, credits and reviews for over 35,000 movies, plus filmographies for thousands of actors, directors, screenwriters and others. You can search the database by movie title or a person's name.
7. Film.com: Movie news and reviews of upcoming and recently released movies. You can view the movie information by selecting the movie title from a drop down menu. For each movie you can read the plot and cast information and follow links to movie trailers and other related sites.
8. Dark Horizons: This site gives the latest news, images, clips and reviews of all the current and upcoming films. Also included is a weekly breakdown of films and shows screening in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia.
9. Hollywood.com: This is a database of recently released and upcoming movies. You can search by movie title, by movie genre, or view the alphabetical list. For each movie you can read a summary of the plot, information about the cast, credits, rating, links to reviews and articles about the movie, and movie trailers.
